Kindle を接続してワンクリックで取り込む
クイックスタートから日常的な操作フローまで、KMate を使いこなすための実用ガイドです。
- データ転送に対応した USB ケーブルで Kindle を接続します。充電専用ケーブルでは取り込みできません。
- Kindle が接続状態になったら、ツールバーの「Kindle を接続」をクリックするか Cmd/Ctrl + K を押します。
- Windows では、KMate が通常自動で端末を検出して取り込みを開始します。
- macOS では、古い Kindle で初回のみ Kindle ルートフォルダの許可を求められることがあります。以後は再利用されます。
端末メモ
新しい Paperwhite、Colorsoft、Scribe では、追加の USB/MTP ツールや手動設定なしで KMate が直接認識できます。

Kindle 対応状況の概要
KMate はすべての Kindle 世代でハイライトとメモの取り込みをサポートします。単語帳の取り込み可否は、世代ごとに Kindle が公開しているデータ範囲に依存します。
従来の Kindle モデル
2024 年以前のすべての Kindle では、ハイライト・メモ・Vocabulary Builder の取り込みが利用できます。
新しい Kindle モデル
2024 年以降の新モデルでは、現在ハイライトとメモの取り込みは可能ですが、単語帳への直接アクセスは Kindle 側でまだ公開されていません。
複数の Kindle を使っている場合、単語帳は端末間で同期されることが多いため、従来モデルから全体を取り込めることがあります。

大量のライブラリを並べ替え・グループ化する
KMate は本と著者ごとに自動整理し、その上で大規模ライブラリ向けの柔軟な表示を提供します。
- ナビゲーションツリー上部の並べ替えメニューから、最近取り込み、書名、最近の読書状況などで本を整理できます。
- グループ化を使うと、言語、年、既読/未読、学習中、習得済みなどの軸で大量の本を管理できます。
- 並べ替えとグループ化の設定は自動保存されるため、次回も同じ見方を維持できます。

最近取り込んだ項目、色分け、重複ハイライトを絞り込む
フィルターは、新しい内容に集中したい時にも、Kindle 由来の重複や誤った線引きを整理したい時にも有効です。
- ハイライトや単語帳ビューのフィルターメニューから、最近取り込んだ項目、色分け、レベル別項目をすばやく表示できます。
- 重複フィルターモードを使うと、現在の一覧または全ハイライトに対して一括で重複チェックできます。
- KMate は重複の可能性が高い項目を自動選択するため、不要なものを素早く削除し、残したい項目だけを保持できます。

コピー形式と書き出し形式を調整する
コピーとエクスポートの項目は自由に調整でき、執筆、保管、語学学習の各ワークフローに合わせられます。
- KMate のオプションパネルでは、ハイライトタブと単語帳タブそれぞれでコピー項目と書き出し項目を設定できます。
- Anki へ書き出す場合は表面と裏面の項目を必要に応じて選択します。全項目をまとめて出したい場合は片面だけでも構いません。
- 任意のナビゲーションノード、一覧、検索結果から PDF、Markdown などへ書き出せます。

メモ、用例、定義をその場で編集する
インライン編集により、読書データをそのまま復習しやすい学習素材へ整えられます。
- 読書エリア内のハイライト、メモ、単語の用例や定義をダブルクリックすると編集モードに入れます。
- 編集モードは Markdown 記法とショートカットに対応しており、整理と追記を素早く行えます。

辞書、オンライン翻訳、AI 定義を追加する
単語復習は、文脈、ローカル辞書、オンライン定義を一つの画面に集約するとより実用的になります。
- KMate は単語を文脈付きで自動取り込みします。
- Mobi、PRC、Mdict、StarDict、テキスト辞書などのローカル辞書を追加できます。
- オンライン辞書、翻訳、AI 定義も追加でき、データベースモードや読書モードで復習・書き出しが可能です。
- Mobi 辞書は形式や暗号化がさまざまなため、一部のファイルは利用できない場合があります。

読書モードで集中して復習する
読書モードは単なる一覧ではなく、ハイライトや単語を継続的に見返しやすい学習画面へ変換します。
- ナビゲーションのコンテキストメニュー、表示メニュー、または Cmd/Ctrl + R から読書モードを開けます。
- カード表示とリスト表示を切り替えながら、書影、並べ替え、フィルターを組み合わせて復習範囲を絞れます。
- 読書ヒートマップから特定の活動日へジャンプできます。
- 目に優しいテーマ、フォント、カードスタイルを調整して自分の読書習慣に合わせられます。
- ツールバー右側のメニューから、現在のカードを PDF に書き出したり印刷したりできます。

Platform rule
Most Cmd/Ctrl shortcuts automatically map to Command on macOS and Ctrl on Windows.
Dictionary shortcut rule
Dictionary shortcuts intentionally use Control on macOS. On Windows they use Ctrl + Alt to avoid conflicts with color-mark shortcuts on Ctrl + 0-9.
