Mac: More AI Dictionaries & Reliable Imports
- Added Anthropic Claude, Kimi and Zhipu GLM AI dictionaries with your own API key and custom prompts. Model lists refresh after key entry, prioritize fast lookup models and retain existing settings; key guidance and connection tests are clearer.
- New dictionaries are selected and scrolled into view automatically. Dictionary details list main files and related resources with individual links to their locations.
- Improved live lookup: fixed blank or truncated definitions, nested scrollbars, MDX entry links and resource display in live and batch lookup.
- Apple Books and Amazon Kindle Cloud imports respect saved book and author name mappings, with better duplicate detection and source handling. Apple Books page/location updates preserve edited text; author names containing parentheses parse correctly.
- Kindle-format export defaults to My Clippings.txt. Switching formats updates suggested filenames while preserving manually entered names. Reimport fixes prevent incorrect item types, duplicate records and location metadata appearing in note text.
- Fixed inconsistent book language grouping between Reading and Database modes and language detection for short highlights. Refined translations, import and dictionary messages, Reading Mode menus, Settings, Pro benefits and iCloud information.
KMate Mobile: Quick Lookup & Flexible Export
- Double-tap words in highlights, vocabulary examples and word titles to look them up; edit the query in the lookup window. Double-tap lookup and live definitions on cards can be enabled separately. (double-tap lookup requires Pro)
- Import multiple dictionaries or an entire folder, with automatic resource-file matching and clearer guidance. Improved MOBI import reliability, reduced memory and storage use, and fixed some MDX definitions.
- Export highlights and notes as Kindle My Clippings.txt, preserving original clipping details and your latest edits. (My Clippings export requires Pro)
- When copying or exporting vocabulary, choose saved definitions, local dictionary definitions or automatic filling of missing definitions, with progress tracking and cancellation.
- Refined text, Markdown, PDF and print layouts; fixed Anki custom fields shifting when content is empty.
- Faster flashcard loading and navigation for large libraries; fixed opening crashes and review-order changes returning to the first batch. Improved lookup layout, text scaling and expandable definitions, and fixed home review counts after deleting notes.
Desktop Update: Apple Books, Cleaner Libraries & More Reliable Imports
- NEW on macOS: Import Apple Books highlights and notes directly from your Mac, preserving book and author details, linked notes, colors, and source information.
- Edit book and author names from a highlight, then keep those changes with saved name mappings that are reapplied during future imports and iCloud sync.
- Source-based organization is clearer across Library and Reading Mode. Browse Kindle, WeRead, Apple Books (macOS), and KMate content separately, with source icons and faster book or author navigation.
- Improved on both desktop editions: highlight colors stay more consistent across imports; imports and dictionary lookups can be canceled safely; and the library restores its position, expanded groups, and selection after importing.
- Improved local dictionaries, including MOBI/PRC, Polish, and three-column TSV support. Tag counts and filtered lists now refresh immediately, while batch and duplicate deletion is faster and keeps library counts in sync.
- macOS: Improved multi-device Kindle connection and authorization, clearer guidance when another app has the device open, and reliable handling of a successful sync with no new items.
- Windows: A connected Kindle with no highlights or vocabulary is now recognized as a successful zero-item sync. Also fixed MTP/USB checks, import progress copy, keyboard behavior in confirmation dialogs, and spaces in search fields.
- Fixed an iCloud vocabulary-usage conflict on macOS and additional import, dictionary, tag, and interface stability issues on both platforms.
KMate Mobile: Custom Dictionaries & Redesigned Flashcards
- Import MDX/MDD, StarDict, MOBI/AZW/PRC, and text dictionaries directly on iPhone and iPad.
- View custom definitions in vocabulary cards and detail pages with original formatting, images, fonts, and pronunciation audio.
- Manage imported dictionaries on-device: enable, reorder, and rebuild them whenever needed.
- Redesigned Flashcards with a cleaner layout, separate reveal controls for examples and definitions, and smoother transitions.

Major Dual-Platform Update: Activity Insights, Source Organization & Data Reliability
- Added an Activity Calendar and trend charts for Highlights and Vocabulary, with day, month, and year views, daily and monthly averages, heatmaps, and direct date filtering of the current list.
- Database Mode and Reading Mode can now group content by Kindle, WeRead, and Notes, so books with the same title can be managed separately by source.
- Reading Mode now includes heatmap date filtering, book cover display and management, Expand/Collapse and Auto Collapse options, plus an upgraded Article List View, sorting, grouping, and action menus.

- Added WeRead note sync import, including color highlights, underlines, and note-style highlights, with dedicated WeRead-sourced book entries and clear source labels.
- Library Mode and Reading Mode now support independent per-book notes, thoughts, and reviews, with Markdown editing, export support, and the Command + N shortcut.
- Vocabulary lookup can now show all enabled dictionary definitions at once, with no need to fetch or download first; any definition can be saved quickly as a local definition for export.
- Vocabulary details now include stacked and side-by-side layout modes, with quick switching between usage lists and dictionary definitions.

- Native iCloud sync is now available for data files, with automatic cloud backup and cross-device sync for notes, vocabulary, and learning progress. It also prepares KMate for the upcoming iOS release.
- Content hashtags are now recognized and highlighted automatically, then added to the tag list; book view and Reading Mode now support quick filtering by tags.
- Global font settings now support more system fonts instead of a limited preset list, with improved font behavior across the navigation tree, list views, and toolbar.
- Detail reading views for highlights and vocabulary now support custom fonts, zoom controls, Markdown rendering, and tag rendering options.
- AI/LLM dictionary prompt templates now support lemma and usage-example parameters, with copy and quick-insert support.
- Added Youdao Dictionary and updated the iCiba dictionary integration.
- Anki export now includes an option to preserve original HTML, with support for exporting full dictionary HTML or streamlined text definitions and better formatting for simplified definitions.

- Import exported note files from Kindle for PC/Mac/iOS/Android into Kindle Mate for unified management and review; imported data is merged into existing books/authors, matched to color tags automatically, and related notes are linked across platforms.
