Major Dual-Platform Update: Activity Insights, Source Organization & Data Reliability
- Added an Activity Calendar and trend charts for Highlights and Vocabulary, with day, month, and year views, daily and monthly averages, heatmaps, and direct date filtering of the current list.
- Database Mode and Reading Mode can now group content by Kindle, WeRead, and Notes, so books with the same title can be managed separately by source.
- Reading Mode now includes heatmap date filtering, book cover display and management, Expand/Collapse and Auto Collapse options, plus an upgraded Article List View, sorting, grouping, and action menus.
- Content Search now offers an optional wildcard mode: use ? for one character, # for one word, and * for any characters.
- NEW on Windows: Added WeRead import, standalone book notes, and automatic content #tag recognition and filtering.
- NEW on Windows: KMate Mobile can now import KMate Windows databases, making it easy to review notes and vocabulary on iPhone and iPad.
- NEW on Windows: Added multi-dictionary live lookup with dictionary ordering, primary definitions, and Sequential/Parallel vocabulary layouts, plus Anki export with original HTML or concise text.
- Upgraded Duplicate Filter Mode to distinguish duplicates from suspected duplicates more accurately, improve Kindle Scribe autosave, changed-range, and cross-device detection, and select only high-confidence duplicates by default for safer batch cleanup.
- Added persistent indexes and reusable caches for MDict, MOBI, and StarDict dictionaries, reducing repeated loading and speeding up subsequent lookups.

- Added a “Confirm before deleting list items” setting, refined interface and icon layouts, and introduced a redesigned welcome screen with clearer quick-start guidance.
- Fixed Reading Mode notes appearing saved without being written to the database, being overwritten by older content, saved more than once, or lost when leaving Reading Mode.
- Fixed saving failures and overflow involving long text, links, and code, plus lost line breaks and incorrect cursor positioning in Markdown editing.
- Fixed deleted content reappearing while iCloud sync was enabled on macOS, with clearer prompts and safer handling when clearing synced data.

WeRead Import, Book Notes & Vocabulary Sync Upgrade
- Added WeRead note sync import, including color highlights, underlines, and note-style highlights, with dedicated WeRead-sourced book entries and clear source labels.
- Library Mode and Reading Mode now support independent per-book notes, thoughts, and reviews, with Markdown editing, export support, and the Command + N shortcut.
- Vocabulary lookup can now show all enabled dictionary definitions at once, with no need to fetch or download first; any definition can be saved quickly as a local definition for export.
- Vocabulary details now include stacked and side-by-side layout modes, with quick switching between usage lists and dictionary definitions.
- Vocabulary definitions updated on macOS now sync to KMate Mobile on iPhone and iPad for continued learning.
- Improved visual consistency between Library and Reading modes, with better light/dark mode adaptation.
- Refined book-level tags and inline content #tags; highlight and vocabulary detail views now support faster tag removal.

iCloud Sync, Tag Recognition & Dictionary Workflow Upgrade
- Native iCloud sync is now available for data files, with automatic cloud backup and cross-device sync for notes, vocabulary, and learning progress. It also prepares KMate for the upcoming iOS release.
- Content hashtags are now recognized and highlighted automatically, then added to the tag list; book view and Reading Mode now support quick filtering by tags.
- Global font settings now support more system fonts instead of a limited preset list, with improved font behavior across the navigation tree, list views, and toolbar.
- Detail reading views for highlights and vocabulary now support custom fonts, zoom controls, Markdown rendering, and tag rendering options.
- AI/LLM dictionary prompt templates now support lemma and usage-example parameters, with copy and quick-insert support.
- Added Youdao Dictionary and updated the iCiba dictionary integration.
- Anki export now includes an option to preserve original HTML, with support for exporting full dictionary HTML or streamlined text definitions and better formatting for simplified definitions.
- Added a new Filter menu on navigation tree nodes for quick access to duplicate mode, color marks, and word levels.

Archived Windows Milestone: Kindle Import & Vocabulary Management
- Import exported note files from Kindle for PC/Mac/iOS/Android into Kindle Mate for unified management and review; imported data is merged into existing books/authors, matched to color tags automatically, and related notes are linked across platforms.
- Added Kindle vocabulary export and import formats, including backup/restore for books or individual words and direct vocabulary import from other Kindle Mate data files.
- Added a quick search bar for the Books and Authors list (Ctrl+F) with highlight and jump-to-match support.
